Harold's business career started in Las Vegas on May 3,1970 at age 23. He just finished four years in the United States Air Force where he was a crew chief (Staff Sergeant at age 22) in charge of the maintenance and a crew of six of a 50 million dollars aircraft, the C-141 Star lifter, while taking night classes  at Soloanas Collage in business during his service to his country. Harold started his business career in sales with J. C. Penney's and very quickly became a merchandise manager and was advanced to several senior positions. In 1979, he was promoted to open the new J. C. Penney store in the Meadow Mall, Las Vegas.  He received the J.C. Penney chairman's award in 1988. In 1991 he won first place for sales and profit for the district and number 2 for whole company. His mentor was Robert O'Connell, his first store manager and gives credit to the associates that worked for him.  Mr. O'Connell spent many hours with Harold in his career in sales. He said " It's going to be the people that will separate you from the rest. We only serve the customer wants and needs."  The number one piece of guidance  to keep Harold performing well was" You can always tell the truth by the results. It is finding solutions to problems." He moved his career and business into real estate in 1991 to the present. Harold found that some sellers did not want to wait for an offer and wanted buyers to open bid on their properties to cut down on the marketing time, carrying expenses and have competitive bidding on their properties.  Sellers needed to know the day and time they would get a offer they could accept, this accelerated marketing approach gave them that, so that the seller who had their investment tied up could  move onto a new project or for personal reason .  The buyers also had a fair chance to purchased the property at the market price.  It also created for Harold a business and marketing plans for his loyal customers. The owner of the auction company put Harold in charge of the Real Estate and Auction division in late 2003. In early 2004 he noticed that land prices in Las Vegas were increasing double digits. Harold used his knowledge and experience to formulate a "land auction"  in early 2005.  He had over 1000 attended the auction. Harold has learned that it is in the people who you work for; your buyers and sellers who trust you. "It is and has alway been in the details, solutions and planning to the your clients properties to get it sold and closed." Harold belongs to several business groups which meet during the month. He has been on a committee with a senior group at his church to help with a book for the elderly assistance with transportation to appointments, food, housing, foreclosures, real estate short sales and veteran's benefits and Health Fairs  Harold also has volunteer his time and belongs to the committee that helped with Windermere  pick the winning non-profit organization for the donations that the all the agents have given out their commission over the year. Harold has just earned the SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation. s
